Hey, quick question - What skills, personality traits do you look for while hiring for the first employees for a org?

Depends on the type of company and needs of the business -- but generally I'd say comfort with ambiguity/flexibility, bias towards action/speed of execution, and ownership mentality. There are probably others, but early employees have to be hands-on doers.

I'll add grit as another -- early startups are incredibly hard and painful and you need people who are going to bounce back from set-backs and push through the pain.
