I’ve heard such good things about it but sadly have had to endure JIRA for years. What do you find nice about it?

We just started using it. Leadership aligns on initiatives. Product, engineering, and design leads create projects. Engineers create issues (mapped 1:1 to PRs, ideally small PRs).

We use it at /ponder and have just begun going deeper on long-term initiatives which have super useful for planning All 4 of us use it with a heavy emphasis on the engineering side

>do you use it? yes >do you use Initiatives? how do you organize your work? In the hierarchy the recommend. Initiatives -> projects -> issues, although we don't spend too much time bikeshedding around what goes where. The intiatives became a good replacement for Notion pages, because the Linear editor has collaboration features. >do engineers or product people write the tickets? well, both. This depends heavily on your company culture. I was fortunate to have almost 20 years of experience building software and of working with similar people, so we've had similar discussions about Jira, Basecamp, GitHub, Trello, etc. We also use Views a lot.

/indexing is using it. Our team is only Eng and Design (no PMs). Using projects to plan and track everything required to ship. Backlog is great for dropping in quick items and ideas. Github integration is smooth enough to drive ticket status automation. Haven't dug into the figma integration yet.
