incredible that Zora made L2 cool to use through branding alone. worthy of an article been stewing on this idea about how L2s will succeed simply bc of their branding and culture

yes, and also we removed as much friction as possible with the product. So it largely felt like the only thing that changed was the thing people loved doing is now 25x cheaper, and also faster.

Whatever it takes... I've been advocating for people to move to L2s since Arbitrum and Optimism launched... I'm glad it's finally happening.

Definitely. Super undervalued in web3. IMO the trick to mass adoption is good UX and good marketing. Thinking art where I navigate most, seems like people still stick a lot to L1 as they (artists/collectors) perceive provenance on L2s as being inferior. Hoping to see this change.

I think at some point dapps will be intagrated with the top few L2s, and the UX will just be "complete transaction with *fastest/cheapest* L2?" (at that point in time)

We have received several customer requests to integrate ZORA with @botfrens. At this point it is hard to judge the actual demand, but it confirms what you said about the branding. Solid work, @jacob and the rest of the ZORA team 🫡

Also L2 makes perfect sense in the context of their product: "Want to support artists and save on gas fees? Use Zora L2". It's better than: "Use this obscure DeFi dapp that does +/- same thing than L1 dapps but it's on L2"
