hi farcasthers!!! seeking feedback, speaking for myself i think it would be a good idea to impose a 2 week moratorium on picture posts with banning as a possible consequence for the following reasons: -the instagram spam is at a pretty bad level -some ppl have clearly not read norms / channel announcements

imo it takes a lot of scrolling to find intentional casts (photos or not) and the noise makes it feel like a landfill of lazy casts. idk if there is an easy answer? i’ll think on it.

I agree with your idea. I find it's generally a good rule to break your routines and see what happens. If you always do the same, you'll achieve the same.

As the host ... you get to write the rules... right? I say YES to your idea ... and agree this isn't the place for pics even though I do enjoy the visuals. Maybe give it a go and see how it changes the channel... you can only give it a go and see what the outcome is. Much love to you

Honestly, I stopped following this channel and commenting regularly because there's way too much spam and not enough regulation. It's a shame really, because I loved the idea of the channel. The majority of the content is from IG and spam 🥲

Omg just do it 🫠 There's so many things that don't apply to the norms being cashed here. And banning images you can implement @automod right? You need something that scales and this can be a new norm that is understood before being lifted & adjusted

I like the intention behind this. I wish there could be a bit more nuance to it: some people are more visual than others and can communicate better that way (whether that’s a meme or photo). What if we asked what content do we want in here, come up with a specific list of things and use that as an agreement 1/2
