i’m generally pretty acoustic-proof to these kind of things, but i’m having a hard time coming to terms with this one specifically because i didn’t do anything wrong & there was nothing i could have done to change her mind (not that i would want to, knowing what i know now) all i did was start a company. its obvious that i have no control over my parents money & it’s wild to hold that against someone despite her endless flaws, i gave her everything unconditionally & always took her at face value, yet somehow i lose her to a (current) conditional clause something something about supporting someone when they’re not at their best, so you can deserve them when they are and fwiw, my current financial situation is not by any means struggling so i just can’t place what this was all about… dodged a bullet, i suppose… onward

sorry to hear king but maybe a blessing in disguise. I often look back on some of the worst moments of my life and realize they were good for me and part of a bigger picture. No one can say much to you in the moment to make it better, but it does get better.
