So, Putin is declaring a unilateral ceasefire to celebrate Victory Day, which celebrates the Soviet victory over the Nazis. He’s encouraging Ukraine to do the same. Me inside of the Toshhovli Palace, in Khiva, Uzbekistan on May 14, 2022. This room (one of more than 260) specifically belonged to the ruler of the Khiva Khanate, Allah Kuli Bahadur Khan. His reign lasted 1825-1842. I was told he entertained harem in this room—and others.

Yep. And they will move more people, vehicles, and weapons into positions just like they did during Easter. 😤 So frustrating, because now our military has to just watch them do all of that and can’t do anything, since they’ll blame us for violations, so Ukraine has to watch them buy themselves time to prepare for more ground offensives under the pretense of some fake ceasefire. 5555 $degen

Power stations, generators, and Starlinks for the medics of one of the brigades currently defending the city of Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region, from which russian troops are just 3.5 miles away. 🫂⛑️ We did several drop-offs at gas stations in nearby villages to avoid getting hit. There are still more than a thousand civilians in the city. Medical and evacuation teams are working on the ground, but it’s getting harder and harder. russians are intensifying their offensive to occupy Kupiansk again (it was under occupation for seven months in 2022 before being liberated). But for now, it’s still holding strong. Thank you to everyone who has been donating so we can support the medics and defenders.

Most of the requests we are currently getting are for generators, power stations, and Starlink terminals, so we’re continuing to work on supplying these to the medics and defenders. Later tonight, we’re also getting the volunteers together to load another car with food and supplies to send to the frontlines 🫂🤍⛑️

I started to test Farcaster a few months ago, and here are my results. Yesterday I met some incredible 🇺🇦 web3 girls, whom I got to know through the /ukraine channel. We talked about onchain opportunities, politics, and art. At the crypto conference (Kyiv) I met people who said, “I don’t use Twitter. I use Farcaster.” I met people who also dream about a blockchain-based institutions 💪 I met some old friends whom I hadn’t seen for 2–3 years. Back then, they had only started to use crypto, but now they are moving their own businesses onchain here in Ukraine. So far, my experience feels like it’s not reality moving into the metaverse, but rather the metaverse leaking into reality. I feel that here, in Ukraine. Because the thrill from those discussions was so powerful that it felt like I visited an alternative, utopian, and incredibly beautiful reality 🌈🦄
