Me inside of the Toshhovli Palace, in Khiva, Uzbekistan on May 14, 2022. This room (one of more than 260) specifically belonged to the ruler of the Khiva Khanate, Allah Kuli Bahadur Khan. His reign lasted 1825-1842. I was told he entertained harem in this room—and others.
