genuine question: you’ve built an MVP you wanted to test. you’re testing it with users. now what? a. improve the product while collecting feedback (why make it better before anybody asks?) b. build another MVP to test (tough — splits focus, stretches devs, spreads attention) what do you do?

do those first five users LOVE your product? indicators of love: - retention rate high, or higher compared to competing products - give you money or a lot more money than needed - share and onboard their friends if none of the above, rebuild. if you have more than 1 of these, collect feedback and improve.

I’d focus on A. It’s all about experimentation. Unless you came to a conclusion that it’s not worth pursuing that because of the market. Anything else, you can keep iterating and refining until your product fits (“adds value”) to the market. I look at B more as a pivot.

"Lean Startup" is pretty clear about it. You rinse and repeat until you have enough customers to say you have PMF, then you invest in growth. If nobody is paying you yet, you're missing the "V" part of MVP.
