actually wild to me that quebec is allowed to prohibit all public services from being rendered in english even though both english and french are the official languages of the COUNTRY we live in π« π₯² i've lived here 12 years and idt i'll ever get used to it

100000% agree there is very little (if any) Anglo representation in QC politics, municipal or provincial, so the idea that French citizens or culture is threatened here is so beyond twisted. monolingual policies like this will just make more people leave and the only reason QC is able to persist as-is is because of equalization payments from provinces like AB, so this agenda doesnβt seem sustainable long-term to me

Was recently informed that the language on my corp tax profile has been changed to French and cannot be changed back because of a law mandating French only service to local businesses. They will eventually drive me out of my home with monolingual policies like this.
