It’s slow at startup (takes 5-10 seconds to “initialize”) but after that its incredibly fast

do you do typescript?
the only problem i have with neovim is slow typescript LSP, but not sure if other editors change the game anyhow

This is a killer post. I’ve never been interested in even trying neovim, but you make a compelling argument.

amazing post! I also switched to nvim around 6 months ago and programming is just so much more fun :) ofc sometimes I want to break my computer but we keep learning I guess
