Have we hit peak booze? Alcohol consumption declining but is it permanent? Consumption of beer peaked in 2016. Wine has been falling since 1979. I hope it has; this notorious chart by /psychedelics OG Prof. Dr. Nutt says it all. My wife @ruthveda.eth and I have been sober for 5 years and never missed it a sec. So far my teenager is (gladly) not interested in the left side of this chart...;-)

I think sample size plays I big part. I assume as weed becomes legal and more people use it, it will rise up the ranks on this list and do more harm than showed on tis graph.
