I tried using Perplexity as my default search engine for a while again. I kept finding myself either just using ChatGPT MacOS app or Google Search. Each one is better at their respective use cases than Perplexity

I still use it for mega quick searches. Like when is the next arsenal match or something like that? I do believe it’s new android product could be a breakthrough, if it does what Apple Intelligence should have been.

I like perplexity for anything that I'm worried will be too SEO-gamed or ambiguous. Maybe 15% of my queries.
