I just had a Lipids panel taken and my LDL cholesterol levels were a bit high I'm quite surprised since my intake of foods high in cholesterol and trans fats has been minimal in the last 6 months According to Bard soluble fibers and plant sterols help reduce it. I do eat these but might have to eat more πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

I'm pretty sure that dietary cholesterol doesn't increase blood cholesterol in humans. Feel free to correct me, but I think every study that indicates that was done in rabbits, and humans can't actually digest significant amounts of cholesterol

Did your doctor do that calculation to see your risk of a cardiac event over the next ten years? Mine said they switched out how they treat cholesterol, and I’m wondering if it’s across the board
