I mostly still just see anti-Elon content on Threads. More so than in Bluesky. https://www.businessinsider.com/threads-users-how-many-meta-twitter-instagram-2024-11

This is one of the main reasons why I found it hard to regularly come back to BlueSky. Nothing to do with Elon. The diversity of opinions & content there just wasn’t great. Nostr has a similar problem imo, it’s just a different bubble. While there is room for improvement, this is something where the FC community is doing better than other alternative social networks out there imo.

threads is a miserable place, a bit like reddit but far less useful and informative

Monthly users is a terrible metric for an app that is regularly embedded as fake UI within the worlds largest social network. I am willing to be a significant % of those monthly users are misclicks that immediately churn.
