Released the final updates for Recaster in 2024: a lot of bug fixes, user location and ETH address verification support. At the start of 2024, I never thought I’d be building on Farcaster. Looking back, from Recaster to Modbot, then Newcaster, what I’ve done has exceeded my own expectations. Most importantly, I’ve made many great friends on Farcaster and received incredible support from the community. Thank you all, as always! Happy New Year! 🎉 See you in 2025.

closing the year with what some might call a ‘failure,’ but for us, it’s been a journey full of lessons over the past months, @mctflurry and i have been fully focused on building drift.money our vision was clear: enabling seamless IRL stablecoin payments by addressing the merchant side but through conversations and exploration, we realized this wasn’t enough: consumer demand also needs to be stimulated to shift behavior, we saw the need for a loyalty-driven experience with rewards, cashback, and gamification, similar to credit card networks but this raised a key question: why should this be built onchain? 🤔 without a clear answer, we decided to step back, rethink, and refine grateful for the lessons and looking forward to what’s ahead in 2025 one thing i’m sure: you’ll see builders.garden and @urbe-eth cooking a lot 🫡

Only ecosystems that understand the importance of collobration will succeed in the long term. That’s why I love the Farcaster, @base , and Clanker @proxystudio.eth ecosystems. There’s a real collaborative spirit there, from the bottom to the top. We received amazing support from Farcaster and Base OGs, @jessepollak , and the Clanker team during the @tinylabs launch. Thanks for all these support, feedback and contribution we recived so far! We’re committed to bringing the best agentic experience to Base and Farcaster. 2025 will be wild for AI agent ecosystems and we’ll bring big guns to the game! Stay tuned and have $SMOL fun.
