Get a teacher tbh. I had a teacher and learnt. Self taught people from scratch is kind of an idealised myth. People nowadays lack the perseverance to do it. Had to be jimi hendrix locked in a room in a pre digital time

I tried yousician but it reminds me too Much on guitar hero. I remember much better and learn much better when I download guitar pro tabs of songs I like!

so many options today! if you prefer instruction: pay a local instructor for lessons. if you are autodidactic: youtube, simple songbooks, online tabs/sheet music. in both cases, find other guitarist to jam with. and just an fyi: guitars will no longer get you laid.

Youtube and practice. Pick a song you love so you'll really want to learn it (try and choose one that sounds fairly simple tho, don't go right for john butlers ocean haha) and look up beginner tutorials for it on YouTube. I really like Marty Music/GuitarJamz and Guitar Zero2Hero Express but there are so many for almost every song. That will teach you some basic chords while learning a song which is fun. Then just repeat and youll start to learn more chords and songs and start to "get it". Good luck, stick with it!!
