i make espresso and end up with a lot of grounds - does anyone do anything with these? I thought about just dumping them periodically into some planters, but then maybe that's not the right move. :) Would love advice if anyone does something fertlizery with their used espresso grounds

Just a little around the garden and the rest in the compost. I will end up putting more around the more greedy plants I have, such as the bananas (musa basjoo) - as when they are in full growth in the summer they need as much food as possible!

Yep. I add coffee grounds to the garden all the time. After planting, I'll side dress plants too.

That’s fine for raised beds and stuff where critters are available to break it down. I don’t think it’s as effective in potted plants. I have a worm bin to compost grounds and scraps. 🪱
