"works for me" isn't solid enough to give out advice to general population

research and statistics must be the way to figure out what's best for most

what you're doing is suggesting to "do this, this and this" but omitting (probably not on purpose) that you also "do this, this and this"

basically survivorship bias and data recollection fault

this is why giving medical advice based on personal experience more often fails people rather than works
