I just had a convo with a famous web2 investor/builder thanks to @yb’s article. A bias of mine was brought to light in one convo. “We’re too web3”. I’ve also noticed web2 VCs actually get excited more quickly to. Be aware of your biases 🫡

I think that’s been a big chunk of the problem over the last 2 years. We’ve hardly improved on things that matter to the majority of the population. Instead, we’ve dug deeper and deeper into stuff like DeFi and NFTs. Which aren’t bad things in and of themself, rather we are misaligned with the rest of the world. There’s been improvements recently and I think we’re starting to take our head out of the sand and look outward. Excited for the future of web3!
