Excited to share TrendHighlighter.xyz, a tool I built to make the most of Farcaster’s open social graph! Instead of following hundreds of users or endlessly scrolling, you can group people by interests and instantly see the trending URLs within their network.

For example, to track what’s happening among Farcaster builders, create a list with @rish and @dwr.eth, and the app will surface popular links shared by the people they follow. It’s simple, efficient, and helps you stay on top of your interests.

learning as much as i can about wildfires. prescribed burns are a prevention tactic to reduce the buildup of vegetation that could serve as fire fuel.

it takes an avg of 4.7 yrs for a prescribed burn to get through environmental reviews. 

80M acres need urgent treatment — that means now, not in 5 years. maddening!

my biggest change in the last year has been to be even more careful with what information i ingest. 

i now think the membrane between "info out there" and "cognition in my head" is very permeable. everything in your awareness affects you, even the bad takes you know are wrong or dumb. in addition, it all replaces your own thoughts unless you're very very careful about it.

so i cut back hard on all media except older books, and started writing and just thinking more. im also planning to focus even more on working on what i want, not on what others (even people i highly respect) are into.

It is unclear whether these public chains can regain their growth momentum in 2025 - especially considering that Base also experienced a similar post-launch cooling period before surging in 2024. Of the four new public chains tracked, Lava has been overshadowed by its competitors so far, and although Blast recorded the highest monthly user acquisition growth among newly launched public chains in June, it still has a lot of catching up to do.
