all can continue to drive fc forward >community >financial incentives >entertainment whichever ppl come here for, they’ll find the other two a supportive and helpful community - very unique to fc as of now, essential to maintain this culture imo incentives enabled by ownership, distribution, and being rewarded for value provided - unique to fc, this one is core imo to long term success as i view fc as a social economy entertainment - this one can be improved upon for many groups of ppl, yet fc does amazing at this w some groups, idk about everyone else but i literally lmao on here many times daily so what’s missing? most news, but i’d say that will make its way here naturally w time as users increase, and it won’t be as prevalent bc a lot of news is one sided communication, this isn’t as natural in an economy/network, regardless it’ll be here all in all, i think fc should continue down same path it’s been on, while continuing to listen to a community that cares deeply about it’s success

this is not generic, repetitive, or mindless All three are vital to my experience here. I laugh so many times a day. Funny things happen when we all communicate in public and go deep into the daily nuances that we do. I think half the comedy comes from trying to manage the infinite and ever-changing financial incentives that show up all the time. The community comes from those shared experiences. 50 $degen

I would add also art. One of the cornerstones at the bird app is the nft and digital art. I am not saying that there is not here but I feel like, it doesn’t get much attention here

I think there's a huge amount of potent value here in the higher calibre of people who have arrived here & risen through to the Power Badge filters (& ofc some who have dropped out but will be back) What seems to be more of a growth vector is the move towards the organization & curation of thematic content in a more sticky fashion. I think this is one of the ways that reddits upvotes in specific channels functions to try to have high signal in the specifically organized channels. Lots to juggle but the path forwards is a two step forward one step back dance & that dance is going very well here I'd say 🫡

Well said dude. And maybe let's keep the news out of here...😆. You're right that it is very one sided and agenda based, typically. It's very hard to know what is fact these days. But yes I bet we see more of it as farcaster expands

I actually prefer missing “most news” as stuff outside of mainstream seems to be explained more in depth/concisely (especially with crypto) I don’t even use Twitter anymore (wasn’t really a power user to begin with anyway though, heh)

I have been thinking about it and I'm not sure about one thing...if the crypto crowd all ends up on Farcaster, then would it not be a problem with onboarding new users into crypto? On Twitter things happening in crypto get seen by many outsiders, that's how I got to know about crypto and NFTs back in 2021
