It’s shocking how Trump keeps attacking South Africa, when most of his followers probably couldn’t even spell apartheid, let alone understand its lasting impact. SA is still grappling with the deep inequality left by decades of systemic oppression something that can’t be undone overnight. yes, the ANC is far from a great government, but let’s be real: the country’s struggles didn’t start with them. If we follow Trump and Elon logic, should Afrikaners “go back” to the Netherlands? After all, SA isn’t their ancestral land. Yet somehow, the same people who rage against immigration in the U.S. and Europe don’t apply that logic when it comes to SA The double standard is glaring. Why is it a crisis when non white immigrants move to Western countries, but not when European settlers built entire societies on stolen land?

The fear of immigration erasing white culture is ironic, considering that multiculturalism didn’t emerge by accident! it happened through centuries of European colonization, displacement, and exploitation. If Europe hadn’t invaded, enslaved, and redrawn borders across Africa, Asia, and the Americas, would immigration even be a debate today? In the U.S., immigration is celebrated when it fuels innovation H1B visas overwhelmingly go to Indians, Africans, and Asians driving the tech industry. But when migrants take on essential labor cleaning homes, caring for the elderly, harvesting crops they’re seen as a burden! Central Europe relied on Polish workers for domestic labor for decades, yet that was never framed as a threat. Is immigration only controversial when the faces aren’t white? The French have communities in nearly every corner of the world. White Americans move freely to Bali, Mexico,Dubai. Where is the outrage? The calls for assimilation?

Trump’s presidency might just be the wake-up call the world needed. People are chanting “America First,” unaware of its long-term consequences, the rest of the world is quietly moving on. Canada and Mexico are hedging their bets, Brazil is deepening ties with China, and the petrodollar’s grip is slipping as Russia, India, and the Gulf states diversify away from U.S. influence. Even Europe is recalibrating, watching as Washington alienates allies and undermines its own global standing. Trump/Musk chaotic diplomacy isn’t just burning bridges it’s accelerating the rise of a multipolar world where America is no longer the center of gravity. The best part, People are cheering, seeing transparency, change, DOGE oblivious to the fact that “America First” is actually America’s slow exit from the throne. 🍿 🍿

America is at a turning point, and Trump knows it. Instead of strengthening alliances and securing its global influence, the U.S. is retreating, making deals with its biggest rivals in the hope that they will overlook decades of condescension. But here’s the truth: they won’t. Russia, China, India, Iran, South Africa have been preparing for this shift for years. BRICS isn’t just an economic alliance anymore it’s a strategic realignment designed to challenge Western dominance. Trump, for all his flaws, understands this better than most. He sees that America’s position isn’t as untouchable as it once was. his approach cutting off allies, weakening NATO, and assuming adversaries will negotiate in good faith is dangerous. Russia and China don’t want fair deals; they want a world where the U.S. is no longer a major force. The belief that pulling out of global conflicts will somehow “bring peace” is naïve! Good luck!

I’d use the 1 ETH to push forward conversations around AI and blockchain technology in regions often left out of global tech discussions. Africa, with its population of over a billion and a rising wave of innovation, has potential to be a leader in shaping the future of these technologies. The real challenge isn’t a lack of talent it’s the limited access to resources, infrastructure, and meaningful education around these rapidly evolving fields. AI and blockchain have the potential to address real challenges improving governance, boosting financial inclusion, and creating opportunities for homegrown innovation. Now, the conversation is dominated by tech giants in the US and Eu, leaving out voices that could offer fresh, vital perspectives. On a personal level, winning would be more than just financial support it would be a signal that what I’m doing matters. The road hasn’t been easy, especially in regions where these ideas aren’t yet taken seriously. But it’s starting.

Today, Musk demands government employees explain their jobs some call it accountability, but it feels like control disguised as innovation. In 24 months, don’t be surprised if we see mandatory Starlink for government comms, Tesla-only federal fleets, or officials forced to use X. Add federal funds for Mars projects, and it’s clear: personal profit is merging with public policy. The most dangerous part? People are applauding. What starts as ‘transparency’ could soon become follow my rules, use my tools! I will revisit this post in 1 year!

Since when did we decide it was normal for Elon to interfere in EU politics? He played a major role in trump election. But Europe and America are very different. Musk didn’t buy Twitter because he liked it; he bought it to control narratives and influence global politics. Now, with major business interests in Germany through Tesla, his involvement in EU politics is even more concerning. He doesn’t understand Europe its history, values, or complexities. His libertarian, Silicon Valley mindset clashes with Europe’s approach to governance. Yes, the EU needs reform, but the last thing it needs is interference from a billionaire with personal stakes in the region. Unlike the U.S., the EU has resisted billionaires shaping policy. It should stay that way. Musk’s influence isn’t just opinion it’s political and corporate interference. I hope Europe recognizes this before it’s too late. It’s quite crazy to me that we are all watching this happen and applauding it! It’s dangerous

Everyone blames Solana and Pump fun for the rugs, but no one talks about how X is just as responsible. Solana provides the infrastructure, but X provides the reach. Without viral marketing on X, most of these meme coins wouldn’t take off. Scammers aren’t just launching tokens they’re hacking high-profile accounts, impersonating influencers, and using AI to create hyper-realistic fake posts. Yet, no one holds X accountable. Meanwhile, Musk’s “free speech” approach means financial scams spread unchecked. If people really want to fix the rug problem, they shouldn’t just point fingers at Solana. They should be asking why X isn’t doing more to crack down on fraudulent financial promotions. Just thinking out loud!

Meme coins and pumpfun culture might seem chaotic, but they’re really just market-driven evolution. The kids running these plays aren’t just gambling they’re tapping into social narratives, reacting to news cycles, and leveraging attention better than most founders. A lot of traditional builders and investors don’t fully grasp this. Instead of resisting it, they should be learning from it. Look at big tech Facebook started as a college networking site, now it’s a global ad empire. Twitter was for status updates, now it’s a political battleground. Users decide what a product becomes. At the end of the day, crypto is a product, and what matters most is users. If people are using it this way, maybe that says more about the market than the tech itself.

Confession: I used to dislike meme coins and pumpfun culture. Coming from the 2017 class, I saw them as distractions. But after paying attention this past month, I have to admit these young kids get it. They’ve cracked something we didn’t: what makes a meme coin work. And honestly? They’ve been playing one meta that consistently prints general knowledge, news, politics Whether it’s $PNUT or $MOONDENG, they follow the news, react fast, and profit. And maybe that’s not a bad thing. It forces them to pay attention. Sure, they don’t care about the tech but let’s be real, who does? I have an iPhone, and as long as I can text, call, and scroll, I’m happy. I don’t need to understand how it works. So why should the new generation care? They’re using the tech in a way that makes sense to them. And maybe that’s all that really matters. Thinking out loud today!

99% of big bag holders today started as small-time gamblers. They weren’t geniuses they were just early when no one was watching. Right place, right time, plus some calculated risk. Take the $DEGEN or HIGHR whales. Most didn’t “outsmart” the market they happened to be there before the hype. Same with the guy who turned $200 into $200K. It wasn’t magic; he just bought $LUM or $ANON before the cool KOLs showed up. Moral of the story? There are always great projects. You just have to persevere. Right now, morale is low on Base, and liquidity got drained by the Trump saga. But something will emerge from these trenches. The game resets faster than people think. Stay sharp.

What’s killing crypto isn’t meme coins it’s Onchain culture. We turned a movement about privacy & sovereignty into a public casino. Wallet tracking, copy trading, and praying whales buy after us. Instead of conviction, we optimize for who buys next. We follow the biggest wallets, whoever has the most DEGEN or the highest stack. But let’s be real the people who hold the most aren’t necessarily the best to decide what’s valuable. We just act like they are. That’s why Trump, influencers, and even governments can launch tokens, and we still ape in. They know we will. Not because the token is innovative, but because we’re conditioned to follow. Onchain is great, don’t get me wrong. But let’s not fool ourselves transparency doesn’t mean wisdom. The biggest bag holders shouldn’t dictate everything. That’s just my opinion.

I think this is the wrong approach. FC became relevant because of the degen culture and tipping it created excitement and engagement. Once that was gone, many people left. The bigger issue is that FC seems to focus on catering to elites and builders while neglecting the average person. Unless people are making money or feel a strong sense of value, Farcaster just isn’t interesting. The platform has portrayed itself as a place where people can thrive financially, especially with the degen tipping culture. On top of that, it feels like Farcaster favors bigger accounts that align with the founders’ views, which alienates others and stifles organic growth. To truly bring people back, there needs to be a shift in focus toward making the platform appealing and inclusive for everyone, not just a select group @dwr.eth
