I'll go first-- over a year ago I got my wallet drained after clicking a bad link. I posted about it online and connected with a lot of people who had the same thing happen to them. I got to experience the generosity of the web3 space (donations, advice) and was motivated to be a better trader & made it all back

Great prompt! I burnt out hard, as a lawyer/patent agent. I spent years working towards the corporate life and when I got there, it was far more draining than expected. After a few years of constant burnout, I quit my job and went full time as a creator, now I help others overcome burnout with my art and writing ✨

Losing my mother was incredibly hard. I had always depended on her, so her passing left me feeling lost. But I knew I had to become independent. It was tough, but through the pain, I found inner strength and resilience. Despite the sorrow, I emerged stronger, cherishing her memory as my inspiration.

Giving up has been everything. The whole art of life is the art of surrender. To surrender the need to control: the ultimate rebellion against the tyrant idea-self created in the mind. To let go and let life manifest its tremendous bounty of joy and graciousness. Thank you to the defeat that sets us free.

During Pandemic, I lost my job & got struck in diff city for three & a half months. I was almost broke. But the neighbors, whom I rarely spoke to, helped me in joining a WFH designing job. It was my first remote work experience, & I worked hard to save myself. This taught me that kindness do exist, even in tough times.

Growing up as a son in a small under developed country is a huge challenge and struggle. Luckily, I got an opportunity to come to the US 🙏. Went to college while working two jobs to get through the college. Graduated and worked hard to make life easier for people around me. The journey continues in web3 now.

Resilience through hardship: I had a weird vertigo for 3 years. Temporarily fixed but then bad relapse that nothing helped. A friend introduced me to an "alternative" approach about the connection of mind & body. It relieved the vertigo to this day, gave me a new outlook on pain, and led me to help a couple friends.

I’d landed a job at a hip company and moved to NYC. Then, I got laid off with the rest of the tech world, and I’m still looking almost a year later. It forced me to do something few do: divorce my worth from my work. It’s taken time and therapy and support, but I’ve learned so much, and I’m better for it.

Early in my time in web3 I aligned w/ a company whos vision I thought bold + ppl I enjoy working with. We had some big Ws in 21, but w/ the highs came immense scrutiny & criticism on very public stage. Building through the highs & lows gave me appreciation for the tenacity & resilience required to be here longterm

On the whole, I’ve lived a pretty fortunate life, though my immune system has been in complete friendly-fire mode for the last 15 years. Started with my diagnosis of T1D in my early 20s, and then again with MS in my early 30s. So far the symptoms have been manageable, but it comes with present and future challenges.

I started a project during the last bull market - a debit card that funds your fav DAO using your interchange fees. The bear market nearly killed it. Card issuers and investors stopped answering our calls, accelerators politely told us it was never going to happen. We just launched in the US. Everything is possible.

The hardest thing I’ve had to do is walk away from the medical field. It was my bread & butter for most of my adult life, but it no longer served me—& I had to accept that. I had no plan and still don’t (for the most part) but my joy is back, my faith is stronger and I’m allowing my curiosity to lead me. I won.

In 2019, I lost my job at the first bank I worked at. Before that point, I had been losing weight (I eat like a linebacker so I was kind of confused but I wasn’t that worried) but I knew I was stressed. When I lost my job, I didnt know what to do. I went to the doctor because I knew my insurance was ending ⬇️
