I’d landed a job at a hip company and moved to NYC. Then, I got laid off with the rest of the tech world, and I’m still looking almost a year later. It forced me to do something few do: divorce my worth from my work. It’s taken time and therapy and support, but I’ve learned so much, and I’m better for it.
