On the whole, I’ve lived a pretty fortunate life, though my immune system has been in complete friendly-fire mode for the last 15 years. Started with my diagnosis of T1D in my early 20s, and then again with MS in my early 30s. So far the symptoms have been manageable, but it comes with present and future challenges.
