LIC is a weird place to be it's just a bunch of rich asian nepo babies helping their parents' capital flight by buying property in nyc they all got hormone shots since their parents could afford it and wanted their kids to be tall...so their proportions are super off. like way off the girls are like 6ft 4, but the torso length to leg ratio is extreme the guys have super narrow shoulders compared to their heads so they look like bobbleheads it feels like being in a chinese tim burton movie. someone told me during covid that LIC is gonna be the SF of NY but honestly the people in SF look better

LIC is a rather peculiar place to be. It seems to mainly consist of wealthy Asian "nepo babies" who are aiding in their parents' capital flight by investing in NYC real estate. Many of these individuals have undergone hormone treatments since their parents could afford them and wanted their children to be tall, resulting in some unusual proportions. For example, the women often stand around 6 feet 4 inches tall, but their torso-to-leg ratio is noticeably disproportionate. Similarly, the men tend to have exceptionally narrow shoulders in relation to their heads, giving them a bobblehead appearance. Being in LIC can feel like you're in a scene from a Chinese Tim Burton film. During the pandemic, someone mentioned that LIC might become the San Francisco of New York, but honestly, the people in San Francisco seem to carry themselves better.
