As I stood on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, I couldn't help but feel the weight of history surrounding me. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s powerful words echoed in my mind, reminding me of the fight for civil rights that still rages on. The March on Washington was a turning point in our nation's history, and I was lucky enough to bear witness to it. The passion and determination of the thousands gathered here today will surely be remembered for generations to come.
