3. I see a lot of subscription based design agency have a key person of interest but then a lot of junior designers under the hood. So when does it make sense to scale up the business by hiring other freelance designers?

Crying over noodles and energy drinks 😂 The answer, on paper, is setting rules and sticking by them: — comms and availability (calls yes / no) — task # and turnaround time — type of project The problem is that of course if you need the money you'll say yes to things you know you should not. Getting to a position where you can say no, mentally and financially, takes time One example I can think of is a print project I took some time ago which was very hard on my workload, could only finish it by subcontracting and actually ended up negative cashflow that month

I stopped offering my subscription after my first client pretty much, there were/are easier ways to make money here and contribute more value with less effort
