IMO getting clients for a design sub is not harder / different than getting clients as a freelancer in general! If they think you're the right person, you'll get the client. Visibility is the most important thing Having a sub doesn't mean they have to stay on for months - actually most of my clients stay for 1-2 months, with exceptions where I did week-long engagements You're just being upfront and vocal about your rate

Need to onboard them to that process, but not many clients want to learn that and accept it So it’s extra work and communication
