I'm afraid of Wilson's idea. I'm also happy to be proven wrong be Wilson and other braver souls :)

I worry we'll hurt the brand if:

- we end up funding subpar proposals because we feel rushed and better props aren't showing up

- we end up burning a lot and many ppl feel it's a giant waste

I want to learn faster, on that we're aligned.

I fear the fast pace of spend or burn will lead to some pretty bad spending.

More than ever we'll be a grift target, and more than ever the grift will work out.

Much to say about this, not enough characters 😅

agree and feel the same, its def risky. but - is it not the inevitable? forget the burn and lets assume the arb magically disappears, what makes us think that we’d spend more (or less) thoughtfully then? 

imo, the burn (or any forcing function) just gets us to the endgame faster. we will learn the truth.

I like this fear — lets lean into it and get to work. Its a good forcing function for progress (or death).

feel the same way. a forcing function is the way forward, but we need time to coordinate. the DAO would be too easy of a target to grift through well presented props, and if we become fearful of well presented soft-rugs/grifts, we will end up only funding people we know.

Fear keeps us motivated. Feel like many great ideas are waiting to be funded in this bear
