I'm afraid of Wilson's idea. I'm also happy to be proven wrong be Wilson and other braver souls :)

I worry we'll hurt the brand if:

- we end up funding subpar proposals because we feel rushed and better props aren't showing up

- we end up burning a lot and many ppl feel it's a giant waste

feel the same way. a forcing function is the way forward, but we need time to coordinate. the DAO would be too easy of a target to grift through well presented props, and if we become fearful of well presented soft-rugs/grifts, we will end up only funding people we know.

i believe that 6 months minimum, we might be able to pull something great if we all coordinate. ideally, 1 year or next nouniversary. burning through chunks/seasons can also work.
