deep research justifies the pro for now. but googs expected to drop theirs soon. and it won't be $100 limited query count b/c they've been building it incrementally via deep research and notebooklm

given the value for money deep research is a no brainer however, it's likely just o3-mini on loop under the hood. which means you can get similar results by calling the api, at arguably much lower costs, without being rate limited so many clients and tools will have the same capability soon, like this one https://github.com/dzhng/deep-research

keep in mind it will still make mistakes, for example ask for a biography on yourself (with a little context to start it off) and encourage use of a timeline and whatnot research is also a strong word for an app pulling any article with that said i’ve found multiple novel discoveries related to my work and now i have to actually implement them
