my initial reaction was hmm… now we’re doing Candy Crush / Duolingo / Snap style addiction as a service? but as I thought about it I’m interpreting the strategy as growth through retention — incentive OGs to remain active and deepen relationships to make channels feel welcoming and fun for new mfers

It’s always nice when you find those users that instinctively know there are other product concerns than what they personally think of a feature. The funny part is that the users with “product knowledge” can sometimes be the most narrowly critical ie they lose their product sense when they become a user.

How I feel about quality posting is not how I feel about rigorously consistent posting. 🫠 This is from years of insta assessing your routine and what kind of content you post and making your visibility depend on being super consistent and posting lots of videos. It just ruined whatever fun or natural pace you set.
