This was already de facto the case with X shareholders owning 25% of xAI (in addition to having largely the same core group of investors in both companies). Simplifies the revenue story and makes it easier to handle the debt if the story is frontier AI model with subscriptions and a social network attached. 100%. Twitter is super influential but not even a top 10 social network on the internet right now. This makes so much sense as a move that plays to Elon's strengths.
