there's some confusion around farcaster names, so let me clear this up: - your username on farcaster is ALWAYS an ENS name - one kind of ens name is the farcaster name (v.farcaster.eth shown in client as @v) - the other kind of ens name is the L1 name (dwr.eth shown in client as @dwr.eth)

Dumb question perhaps.. but does that mean that sending money to the address dwr.farcaster.eth directs it to the primary eth wallet linked to the FC account the same way sending money to dwr.eth would link to an associated ETH address using ENS?

Glad to hear this. Wallet is cool, sure it opens surface area and probably part of why the name thing is also coming up. I don’t want to create more fragmentation I want simplicity as a user and everything to connect.

Is `fname.farcaster.eth` the same as `fname.fcast.id`?

It would be sick if FC integrated private payments with something like this. Imagine default privacy pools that have opt-in lending so users can receive payments privately and earn which would increase the anonymity set over time. FC will evolve as a multifaceted network and one will be the job recruiter facet similar to LinkedIn. Getting gigs on FC would be even easier if zk proofs can handle the docusigning and payments are private.
