why don’t people form small groups (3-5) around an interest, create a channel, and cast/reply to each other? it could: 1. amplify reach (shared audiences) 2. create richer, more dynamic discussions (shared effort) 3. build deeper connections maybe it feels like extra work or it’s hard to find each other?

instead of person A, B + C casting about topic Y in their own siloes (which happens), it’d be better — for them and for the network — if A, B, C casted in one place and engaged w/ each other. Bluesky, TikTok algo etc. make it easy to discover discussions on specific topics. hard here, so topics don’t grow.

I don't think topic discovery is good anywhere. Hashtags resort to slop pretty quickly.

agree there aren’t strong examples to follow. that said we think it drives the most durable form of network growth hence: https://warpcast.com/jdlewin.eth/0x21869752

You have to admit though…for a new user, it’s hard to find your interest matches. Then, when you do, you can’t always cast into that channel. “Cozy corners” can only happen with good discussion. What if topics could be added/curated only by channels. Topics/hashtags would have to be from those available, and maybe only available when casting into that channel? Just throwing out ideas… I would LOVE to be able to tag a cast with #dnd in one channel and have it available for topic discovery. There has to be a way to accomplish it without it becoming hashtag slop…
