Massive opportunity: Token-enabled Wikipedia. Editors and contributors earn by contributing verified information. Consumers support via staking. Could easily incorporate Polymarket-style prediction markets or a business feed for additional revenue. Start with focus on crypto topics. Then AI. Then everything.

I think Wikipedia is dead in less than 5 years. Replaced by LLMs.

What will be the primary consumer interaction model with LLMs?

The aggressive gatekeeping of editors could also become valuable counterpositioning in a post-LLM world. Maybe all the companies who rely on it for the final dregs of clean training data will fund it. Not that it should cost much to operate in the first place.

Yeah probably. Could still be tokenized just with a different model than contributors, obviously. RAG and HyDE have to get much better/cheaper/faster (they will) or we need some new techniques (we will). I think there still might be a wedge for non-conversational information though. LLM-backed news/pedia.
