I think Wikipedia is dead in less than 5 years. Replaced by LLMs.

The aggressive gatekeeping of editors could also become valuable counterpositioning in a post-LLM world.

Maybe all the companies who rely on it for the final dregs of clean training data will fund it. Not that it should cost much to operate in the first place.
