A reminder: human-generated content is not always useful; AI-generated content can be useful! The usefulness of content is relative to each person. This means reasonable people will differ on classification. This is what makes spam filtering hard.

warpcast could go edgy and have the model to include users onchain history, poap collection and icebreakers to reflect and effect social standing. i may be biased in thinking /showing up/ could be incentivized better.

Usefulness is subjective and what one person finds valuable another might see as noise. Spam filtering especially in a decentralized or open platform like Warpcast has to balance reducing unwanted content while respecting diverse perspectives on what is useful.

Many came here to have a respectful reach ratio, being inline with the community engagement they wanted to establish with fans, followers, friends etc… Do we want to become a Pavlov experiment or do we really want to experiment a form of digital freedom ? I’m speaking because, being tagged , I feel concerned about all the people that acquired my FT, follow and interact with me, collect my photography etc …It’s mainly about them.

I think you’re trying to solve for too many variables. Non human generated spam should be dealt with differently from non interesting, spammy human generated content. I would think the social layer should filter for the latter, and intervention such as hiding or labelling should only apply to the former ?

Hi! So it means that in order to be considered as interesting I have to share content interesting others and not sharing content that interesting me. By doing this I won’t build real relations with others because I don’t share my real interest. For me it sounds like « fake ». I prefer have less engagement but real one, than have more engagement on topics I don’t really mind. So am I a spammy user for being « real »? What do you think ?

Perhaps useful is only a subset of valuable. And value is always contextual, so the very same content can appear either side of the y-axis; depends. Happy to help 😆
