Question for books readers Is it better to read books online or from the actual book. Most of my reading is online but some folks are advising me to read from the actual book "better experience" they say. Is that true ?

I really don’t think it matters! I buy a physical book when I think it’s pretty and I want it on my bookshelf but I don’t think it adds anything to the experience. I love my kindle.

I think it's completely subjective. For me, it depends on the book. Most books I read on my Kindle. Some books I decide I want a physical copy to read, or there's a book that I really want to read that doesn't have a kindle version, but I like the font options of a kindle.

It doesn’t matter how you take your stories, only that you take them 💊

I think there has been some evidence that people retain information better from print than a screen. I also know a few people that absolutely love their books. If it's the difference between reading and not reading, give me a screen over nothing. For someone online as much as me, a book is a welcome escape from the screen.

I don't think there is a significant difference between the two cases if there is no distracting element

just do what you like. the experience is the words in the book, not the way you read them. :)

For me the experience was better reading from the book because I felt I was much more focused

I have been reading both paperbacks and Kindle for more than twenty years. Kindle is better. - Lightweight - Comes with its own reading light - Remembers were you were left off - You can continue reading on your mobile phone in a pinch

Whatever is more convenient for you is the best way to read! Both have their pros and cons imo but at the end of the day as long as you’re able to read it. I think you’re fine no matter what medium you use
