Okay, I'll say that: Italian cuisine is overrated. It's just bread, cheese and tomatoes in different configurations. Indian, Korean and Japanese food is much more interesting.

then you must be disqualified from food criticism ๐Ÿ˜‚ i'm lucky where i live that both have high quality - many native indian/vietnamese here. i tried indian e.g. in berlin and it was awful (though vietnamese is pretty solid there)

hey i understand you disagree with me but it's not a reason to be a jerk :) vietnamese cuisine has at least a few interesting, distinct dishes: pho, dim sum, bao, rice pancakes, spring rolls you didn't like any of these?

1) sorry for being a jerk, that's my love language and i overestimated 2) fufu's reaction was that all those cuisines are great and your reaction looked like you disagree with it. i wanted to say that i consider them both great. if you do too, you can still be a food critic, sorry, 500 $degen

haha okay, no problem i thought that fufu meant that all of them are overrated, and i was surprised with indian and vietnamese there. btw it might be a matter of spice - since i got mexican&asian food-pilled, most european food is not intense enough for me, to be considered interesting :)

i appreciate simplicity (meat: steaks, pizza: margherita, pasta: cacio e pepe), vietnamese is actually quite easy on the ingredients and i like that. i preferred spicy food when i was younger, now i could survive on bread and olive oil (but no compromise on quality there).
