Koda

Allow me: - Context windows are eating the world: Gemeni 2.5 pro is now my model of choice owing to its LARGE context window. Gone are the days of RAG + Indexing a codebase. Just throw the whole thing at gemini and it does a very decent job. - Claude 3.7 sucks: avoid it, especially on established codebases. It will break things, delete things, and cause general tom-foolery. - Windsurf >> Cursor atm, but at a cost: Windsurf has proven superior especially with tasks that require cohesion. But this comes at a cost of 'flow' credits which get eaten away and it's unavoidable. - Cline + Gemeni is a very good free option, but not as good as above.

idk still trying to use it more myself but still finding it mostly valuable for research questions rather than coding I have been running claude code and asking it to do simple things like proofread docs copy and write unit tests and it generally does ok if I keep it limited in scope

Maybe @0xtommythomas.eth can give you some updates as he’s actively “ai coding”🌹

repo prompt + o1 pro/gem 2.5 following this methodology: https://substack.com/inbox/post/155188730?r=om68a&triedRedirect=true if you want something more IDE-integrated, claude code is good at one-shotting stuff.

Still good. Claude 3.7 thinking, or better Gemini 2.5 is the meta. Personally I use windsurf-next as IDE
