i believe that people will trust algorithms (usually created by for-profit entities to optimize profits) to choose quality content less and less over time. my hope is that human curators will step in to use their unique and varied tastes to surface and promote valuable content, which in turn will incentivize content creators to stop catering to algorithms. more signal, less distraction.

LOVE THIS! This is literally my entire channel thesis. We're losing the plot when it comes to algorithmic filtering and curation. We need human taste makers to drive the search for the novel and the curious. Optimization isn't the sole purpose of every human pursuit. Algos are a tool to be wielded, not an arbiter of culture and life. Thank you. 127 $degen

That works perfectly with current channel moderation setups Missing thing: enough low friction ways to make it a viable full time job for multiple moderations Solution - more people here due to high quality content - more people -> easier monetization through subscriptions and sponsorships
