i believe that people will trust algorithms (usually created by for-profit entities to optimize profits) to choose quality content less and less over time. my hope is that human curators will step in to use their unique and varied tastes to surface and promote valuable content, which in turn will incentivize content creators to stop catering to algorithms. more signal, less distraction.

That works perfectly with current channel moderation setups Missing thing: enough low friction ways to make it a viable full time job for multiple moderations Solution - more people here due to high quality content - more people -> easier monetization through subscriptions and sponsorships

i'm approaching it a little differently with @atlas curators will be able to curate casts based on topics for uninterrupted high-quality feeds will be less of a forum, more of a playlist
