i believe that people will trust algorithms (usually created by for-profit entities to optimize profits) to choose quality content less and less over time. my hope is that human curators will step in to use their unique and varied tastes to surface and promote valuable content, which in turn will incentivize content creators to stop catering to algorithms. more signal, less distraction.

Missing thing: enough low friction ways to make it a viable full time job for multiple moderations
