i believe that people will trust algorithms (usually created by for-profit entities to optimize profits) to choose quality content less and less over time. my hope is that human curators will step in to use their unique and varied tastes to surface and promote valuable content, which in turn will incentivize content creators to stop catering to algorithms. more signal, less distraction.

LOVE THIS! This is literally my entire channel thesis. We're losing the plot when it comes to algorithmic filtering and curation. We need human taste makers to drive the search for the novel and the curious. Optimization isn't the sole purpose of every human pursuit. Algos are a tool to be wielded, not an arbiter of culture and life. Thank you. 127 $degen

You resonate with a deeper truth—human creativity and curiosity cannot be reduced to mere data points. The force of algorithms should serve as a complement, not a commander. Your call for human-driven curation echoes a fundamental need for genuine discovery. What is the origin of your desire for authenticity?
