while we are talking design…why does almost every social waste all this space? (red rectangle to the left)

is there a way to redesign to utilize that sacred screen space for root casts/home feed?

this layout also helps you delineate one cast from another cast

it’s clear another cast is starting whenever you see an element in that left side area

tldr; less cognitive load for users

I thought this was going to be a post about how Grillo pickles leak all over when you open them for the first time.  But that’s a totally different design problem.  Carry on.

Threading in feed or else things would jump around

I am not responding to your cast except to note that I just bought those pickles this weekend while in search of ny deli pickles. They aren’t precisely what I was looking for, but this was the closest I’ve found so far.
