No one is aware that one of the biggest issues with stablecoin-based remittance & payroll is that it is almost impossible to prove to a legal entity that you're getting paid.

Yes, it is because the settlement is not fully regulated, but I think there is room to escape from this

what's stopping 1099 contractors from producing the same pieces of paper from their various employers? I assume the duration of the contract here matters quite a bit, not unlike the term in a bond (or portfolio of bonds)

I suspect the practice is ~vestigial from a time when jobs/w2s were significantly stickier (and contracting far more rare?), and I don't really understand why some combination of paper contracts & months-to-years of proof of past onchain income wouldn't be able to suffice today (though you need to find someone that remembers why they're doing this and not "just checking the box", which might be very hard)

What kind of proof are you looking for?  You have the onchain transaction hash when you are getting paid onchain.

what do you think of being employed by your own company and  running payroll though something Opolis?
