Protocols without a meaningful product fail. If you build a protocol, you have to also show the usefullness See great examples: Farcaster (Protocol) Warpcast (product) Op Stack (protocol) Optimism Mainnet (product) Eigenlayer (protocol) Eigen DA (product)

Ethereum's biggest UX problem is not Account Abstraction or VM but the lack of native interop across rollups. Even with 7702 or 7561, the lack of interoperability will be the first problem that consumer-facing applications face.

My personal opinions & first thoughts about Beam Chain. The idea is simple; - We have too many possible improvements on the L1 consensus. - However, we don't have any dedicated "paths" to move forward and get these improvements on the L1. - Beam gives an overview & possible paths to get needed improvements to ETH L1 consensus. The beam chain is an independent chain that works simultaneously with the Beacon. After getting all the improvements and tests done, the Beam chain will be replaced (or merged, idk how to call it) with Beacon. This refers to a "batched" subset of optimizations on Ethereum. The idea is great, and I'm sure ETH devs will execute it perfectly, However, the idea of continuing with the same Beacon chain until 2029 does not seem to be the best thing we can do.

Only a few are aware that Istanbul's Stock Exchange has an RWA-focused EVM blockchain that; - Is being validated by big banks (or financial institutions in Turkiye) - Is private (only the government can see the transactions) - has a product called BIGA, which is an onchain gold that Turkey's Treasury Bank issues. - Is live, and Turkish citizens can now use it on their mobile bank applications. The picture below is the diagrams that I used to explain why a ZK-based Rollup on Ethereum would be beneficial for bringing interop to their chain. https://takaschain.takasbank.com.tr/index-en.html

I don’t know why but I’m so excited about zkTLS. I’ll spend some time on that after my vacation.

Some personal news: This week was my last week at Clave. From a hackathon to users' pockets, Clave was a fantastic journey. After 20 months of hard work, I'm so proud of what we've achieved, and I'm sure Clave will succeed. Although I'm leaving my full-time job, I'll continue to support Clave.

This Week, in the Elastic Chain Ecosystem - AbstractChain has announced that they're going to use Eigen DA - Sophon has shared that they're going to use Avail DA They have the same execution environment and different GTMs. Modularity brings more use cases for Ethereum.

Many projects assume that users don’t care about decentralization, which causes them to abandon it and shift towards centralized solutions. I believe we should take a similar approach to what Apple did with privacy. In Apple’s early days, privacy wasn’t a big concern for most users, and their marketing efforts around it didn’t gain much traction. However, when users became more tech-savvy and started valuing privacy, Apple’s products were the first choice because they had been building with privacy in mind all along. I believe decentralization will follow a similar path in the crypto world. When users eventually demand more control over their data and assets, projects that stayed true to decentralization will be the ones people turn to. Decentralization is the product - Ethereum

I spent some time reviewing Aztec’s docs. First of all, they have one of the best resources for explaining concepts and fundamentals. Kudos to the team! My initial thought is that there are hundreds of possibilities for building novel applications with Aztec.

Do you think Unichain is bad because Uniswap MEV revenues go to Uni holders? Think it again: The main value accrual of the ETH is being the main "asset" that you need to use in the Ethereum ecosystem. It is not different in Unichain; users will hold more and more ETH once the Ethereum ecosystem becomes more accessible.

I received a few questions about ZK & Validity proofs in general and I'd like to share one of the best resources on how they work: Computational Integrity by @elistark I highly recommend all the @ Home series by Starkware; they did a great job explaining them! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_LkKX7hBBk&t=2382s
