I tried to sum up the trust assumptions between Hardware Wallets & Secure Enclave (Passkeys) based Wallets and Hot Wallets. More offline parts mean more security.

EIP-7212 is included in shortlist of Pectra upgrade. Hopefully we’ll get native p256 verification soon on mainnet :) ELI5: use your biometrics to sign a tx instead of 12 words.

EIP 3074 is an unsafe, unnecessary change that puts user funds at risk while fragmenting the wallet stack. It will be super helpful to move all assets from EOA's to smart wallets using 3074. I also don't like that Ethereum's "all accounts will be smart contracts" has changed to EIP-3074. It may not have changed, but it is obvious that this is going to postpone the native AA upgrade to later.
