Does anyone have a list of charities or non-profits with a presence on farcaster?

heads up @dish just going to tag you on all things relevant to donations or giving to loop folks in who might be interested in what you're working on... I'm not sure I've seen many beyond @standwithcrypto and then there are groups facilitating donations like @giveth and @endaoment and a few individuals working abroad

Thanks for the tags, Brix! I’d love to contribute to helping raise money for good causes using blockchain. There’s channels like /stjude (inactive) and I haven’t seen a registry of charities accepting crypto. I’m thinking of starting a channel for this soon

feel like it might be worth checking in with @jessepollak to see if anyone within the base team has specifically been working on collaborations with non profits. back in the spring he pointed me to @endaoment not sure if anything has shifted since then. would presume that their might be strategic opportunities that coinbase naturally wants to highlight. not to beat a drum, yet if one makes a 1K donation using credit cards through traditional channels and there are traditional interchange fees then that is ~$30-40 in fees. for every 100K via CC would be 3-4K vs potentially much lower fees within a crypto native product. endaoment seems more like traditional donor advised funds with higher management fees, and advertises 1.5% fee. think there's room for a much smaller fee - imagine a list of 10-20 impactful orgs which could receive USDC on base for "free" thereby maximizing gift to the receiving org.
