Still trying to get my head around how any non-crypto-native is ever going to understand what it means to "mint" something like an author's essay. It seems so unlikely to me that they'll understand that they're supporting the creator directly with earnings. The word just has no connection to their reality.

The objection to moving off web2 socials like reddit and twitter almost always seems to be some derivative of "why do we need another social?". How can we do a better job of communicating that it's not just about another social, or web3 or blockchain. It's about ownership. But unless you've experienced loss firsthand it's a tough sell.

I wonder how many frens who are lucky enough to have daughters are dealing with choices for this election. Especially those who make a living in the crypto world. A) One that tries to limit our daughters' rights to reproductive autonomy. B) Another actively trying to kill your very livelihood.

My mom doesn't know how the internet works. But she uses it as much as anyone (other than my kids). The same needs to be true of web3. Crypto can't be mainstream until it is.
